At the outset of the Polish Council Presidency, the Brussels Economic Council met with Poland’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU, Ambassador Arkadiusz Pluciński, for an exchange on the Presidency’s economic policy priorities. Under the motto “Security Europe!”, the Polish Presidency is placing a strong emphasis on key areas, including strengthening European security, supporting Ukraine, and ensuring a sustainable energy supply. A central priority is enhancing the competitiveness and resilience of the European economy. By deepening the single market, fostering private investments, and, in particular, reducing the bureaucratic burden, the Presidency aims to provide tangible relief for European businesses and bolster the EU’s economic dynamism.
